Description:

TSW was honored to serve as the architect for Monday Night Brewing’s new brewery in West Midtown, Atlanta. The owners of the brewery approached TSW for assistance in finding a suitable space for their upstart brewery and after a thorough search, TSW finally landed them next to the Atlanta Water Works, in a 20,000 square feet space on Trabert Avenue.

The project involved a retrofit and renovation of the existing space, which was designed to respond to the existing layout, with true production in the back and a tasting room and office in the front. The design team worked closely with the City of Atlanta permitting staff and received a BeltLine SAP for the site plan, building modifications and administratively shared parking.

One of the major design elements of the project was the transformation of the long, slender loading dock into a long, slender patio, replete with all manner of fun games. The design of the brewery is minimal, being true to and showing off the industrial flavor of the location. This is augmented by a new concrete bar with glazed roll-up doors to the patio, raw wood and copper sidings, painted mesh rails, Edison bulbs, and plenty of comfy furnishings.

The brewery’s design is minimalistic, yet visually appealing, and it makes use of the industrial elements that are present in the location. The design features raw wood, copper sidings, painted mesh rails and Edison bulbs, which all come together to create a unique and stylish look. The new concrete bar with glazed roll-up doors to the patio, and the plenty of comfy furnishings make the brewery an inviting and comfortable place to spend time.

Overall, TSW’s design for Monday Night Brewing’s new brewery in West Midtown, Atlanta is a perfect example of how an existing space can be transformed into a visually appealing and functional business. The design team’s work on the project has helped the brewery to thrive in the competitive industry. The brewery’s unique design and location make it an attractive place to visit, and the new patio area with games will make it an even more enjoyable experience for the customers.
