Description:

TSW’s Landscape Architecture Studio was retained by the City of Peachtree Corners to provide planning and design services for the signature urban park space in Peachtree Corners, which will serve as a central gathering place for the community. The park, known as the City Green, will feature a large oval amphitheater as its centerpiece, providing a venue for concerts, performances, and community events.

In addition to the amphitheater, the park will include several other important features that will enhance the community’s experience. These include an Open Air Pavilion, an Interactive Water Feature, Playable Art, Turf Berms, a Founders Monument, a Community Garden, and a Veterans Memorial. Each of these elements was carefully chosen to provide a wide range of activities and experiences for visitors of all ages and interests.

In addition to the City Green, TSW was also tasked with designing a Botanical Garden as part of the park. The Botanical Garden will connect the pedestrian bridge to the City Green, meandering along an existing stream. The garden will feature a tree house and trees with Identification tags for learning, providing a unique and educational experience for visitors.

The overall goal of the park is to provide a central gathering place for the community that promotes health, wellness, and community engagement. The park will be designed to be a sustainable and environmentally-friendly space that will enhance the quality of life for residents, visitors, and local businesses. The planning and design services provided by TSW will be critical in ensuring that the final product meets the desired aesthetic and functional goals for the City of Peachtree Corners.
