Sarah joined TSW in 2013 as a planner and landscape designer specializing in urban design. Sarah has combined her background in landscape architecture and planning to gain experience in downtown master planning, illustrating zoning regulations and design guidelines, green space and parks systems analysis and design, urban design, GIS analysis, and research. Sarah is proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite, ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and hand-drawn graphics and uses these tools to create graphics and reports that effectively and creatively communicate ideas. Throughout the planning process, she focuses on inclusive and interactive community engagement techniques to ensure that meaningful input informs design decisions.
During her previous employment with AECOM, Sarah worked on a variety of parks and recreation master plan projects and urban streetscape design projects. She also worked at the Atlanta Regional Commission and updated the region’s green space GIS inventory at the city and county levels and illustrated the PLAN 2040 Development Guide.
Since joining TSW, Sarah has worked on a variety of master planning and landscape architecture projects, including MARTA Makeover (2015 GPA Outstanding Planning Process Award), Cultivate Lake City: Downtown Lake City Master Plan, the Gulf Shores Public Beach Master Plan, multiple LCI projects, and the Colonial Homes II Redevelopment.
