TSW, an award-winning, full-service planning, architecture, and landscape architecture firm that works throughout the Southeast on a variety of projects focusing on civic spaces, park and recreation facilities, mixed use developments, and streetscapes.

The TSW Atlanta Office will host a college Junior, Senior, or Graduate Student of an accredited Landscape Architecture program for a 9–12-month Landscape Architecture internship. This program is for students interested in developing their skills in a collaborative, multidisciplinary studio where planners, Landscape Architects and Architects improve lives and strengthen communities through design.

As a participant in this program, you will have the following opportunities:

  • Work and live in Atlanta, GA as an integral part of our studio working on a wide range of public and private projects, with a focus on skill-building, mentorship, and exposure to:

    • Expand your technical skills
    • Participate in design charrettes and public meetings
    • Attend client meetings
    • Learn about and author construction drawings and design specifications
    • Visit projects under construction
  • Lead a structured 4-5 week long pro bono community design project in collaboration with summer intern, and with the guidance of junior and senior landscape architecture staff
  • Be part of a fun, family-oriented, social office atmosphere

Successful candidates will be organized, excellent communicators, creative, and work well in a collaborative team environment, and develop these skills:

  • Design process
  • Critical thinking and problem solving: Ability to analyze problems, propose potential solutions, and communicate ideas.
  • AutoCAD, Sketchup, Lumion, Photoshop, InDesign, LandFX
