Amy joined TSW in 2026 as a planner in the Atlanta planning studio. She has professional interests in housing, community engagement, and environmental & rural planning. A Georgia native, Amy is passionate about helping communities realize their goals and create lasting positive change. Leveraging her background in communications, she works to translate community voices into actionable strategies, that support vibrant, resilient communities.

Prior to joining TSW in 2026, Amy worked in communications and marketing roles supporting clients in industries such as quick-service restaurants, roofing tile manufactures, pest control, medical technology, and commercial real estate. Through this work, she developed expertise in strategic communications, public engagement, and translating complex information for diverse audiences. Inspired by her experience in commercial real estate and the impact of development on communities, Amy pursued a Master of City and Regional Planning degree at Georgia Tech. While completing her graduate studies, she gained experience as an Engagement Fellow with TSW and as an intern with affordable housing developer Gorman & Company, supporting community engagement, housing research, and development initiatives.
