Bolton Park Apartments is a 226 unit apartment development located in the Riverside Neighborhood on the Westside of Atlanta. The development is partially funded by EB5 funds and unique amenities are being provided for foreign exchange high school and college students. To support these students, a one-story student center is being constructed as a part of the development. The student center will contain a leasing center, security offices, tutoring/study center, computer lab, assembly room, nurse care room, maintenance area, loading dock, and outdoor lunch patio. This student center is intended for the sole use of the residents of Bolton Park and will not be open for general public use.
The student center building will be protected with a NFPA 13 sprinkler system. The basic building construction will include concrete foundations, dimensional framed wood walls, and manufactured gang-nail wood roof trusses. The Bolton Park Student Center will utilize the regional-contemporary aesthetic of the other buildings in the Development. The key elements of the design include regional traditional roof forms and materials with a light color palette of whites and tans, accented with bright colors. The design of the student center is intended to complement the overall aesthetic of the development, while providing a functional and convenient space for the residents.
The student center will serve as a valuable resource for the residents of Bolton Park Apartments, providing them with a variety of amenities and services that are tailored to their needs. The leasing center will make the process of renting an apartment more convenient for residents, the security offices will help ensure the safety and security of the residents, and the tutoring and study center will provide a space for students to study and receive academic support. The computer lab, assembly room, and nurse care room will also provide additional resources for the residents. The loading dock and maintenance area will help ensure the smooth operation of the building, and the outdoor lunch patio will provide a pleasant space for residents to relax and enjoy the outdoors.
