At the University of Kentucky, Kayla maintained the native collection at the state's Arboretum, worked at the university's sustainability program, and served on the ASLA student chapter and the Student Sustainability Council. After graduation, she has worked on comprehensive plans, corridor studies, and flood mitigation studies within rural areas of Kentucky. She is passionate about addressing climate change, engaging with the public, and designing public realms that inspire, serve, and connect communities.
When I’m not at the office, you’ll find me…riding my bike to read at local parks, walking my dog, or having brunch with my besties!
