Client: Gwinnett County, Georgia
Location: Duluth, Georgia
TSW was retained by Gwinnett County to design a sign that would mark the south entrance to McDaniel Farm Park. The sign was designed to sit within an existing median, and its design and placement required coordination with the Gwinnett County Department of Transportation (DOT). The goal was to create a sign that would be visible from the heavily trafficked street adjacent to the park, while also coordinating with the existing signage and structures within the park.
The design process included an analysis of the park’s existing signage and structures, as well as a review of the existing traffic patterns and visibility from the adjacent street. Based on this analysis, TSW developed a design for the sign that was both functional and visually pleasing. The sign was designed to be in keeping with the park’s existing signage and structures, and to maximize visibility from the adjacent street.
The sign was constructed using durable materials that are built to withstand the elements and last for many years. It was also designed to be easily readable and legible from a distance, making it easy for visitors to find their way to the park. The sign was installed by Gwinnett County DOT and was unveiled to the public in the spring of 2021.
Overall, the McDaniel Farm Park sign was a successful project that met the needs of the community and provided a clear and visible entrance to the park for visitors and users.
