Experience

Experience

Beverly is a planner and landscape architect, who enjoys working with clients and communities to create thoughtful places that inspire joy and enhance connections to the community + natural environment. Beverly worked at TSW in Atlanta starting in 2016 as a landscape designer until moving to Chattanooga, TN in 2019 to be closer to the natural assets the City’s mountains and rivers offer. In 2022, after several years of working as an urban designer with local non-profit Chattanooga Design Studio, she desired to take the skills learned from working closely with communities on highly creative urbanism projects back into private practice with TSW.

Beverly’s experience spans a wide range of project types including urban design, public art + tactical urbanism, public parks, community planning, campus design, streetscape design and multifamily residential. She served as lead project manager on ASLA national honor award-winning project “The Porch” in Chattanooga. Beverly’s background in landscape architecture, urban design and sustainable development affords her the experience to help guide development and public space planning in a balanced manner. She believes truly listening and working together with the community from the beginning is vital in creating meaningful places.

Beverly serves as lead of TSW’s Chattanooga office. Additionally, she is a member of Chattanooga’s Form-Based Code Committee.

When I’m not at the office…you’ll find me enjoying Chattanooga’s trails, trying out a new recipe in the kitchen or walking my dogs in my neighborhood.
