Spring is a busy time for TSW, with multiple projects breaking ground. One such project is The Plaza at Evans Towne Center, which is set to break ground on April 18th. Located in the heart of Evans, Georgia, The Evans Towne Center is a mixed-use development that TSW has worked on extensively.
TSW completed the architecture for The Meybohm Building, which is a mixed-use development that includes retail and office space, as well as luxury apartments. The building is a four-story structure with approximately 41,000 square feet of commercial space and 30 high-end residential units.
In addition to the architecture for The Meybohm Building, TSW also completed the landscape architecture for the Towne Center Green and streetscapes. The Towne Center Green is a large public space that is designed to serve as the central gathering place for the community. It includes a large green space, a stage for performances and events, and a fountain that can be used as a splash pad.
The streetscapes at Evans Towne Center were designed to be pedestrian-friendly and inviting, with wide sidewalks, street trees, and benches for people to sit and relax. The goal was to create a vibrant, walkable community that encourages people to get out and explore the area.
The Plaza at Evans Towne Center is the next step in the development of this vibrant community. The plaza will include restaurants, retail shops, and outdoor seating areas, as well as a covered pavilion that can be used for events and gatherings.
Overall, TSW’s work on The Evans Towne Center has been extensive and involved, with the firm providing both architecture and landscape architecture services. The development is designed to be a vibrant, walkable community that encourages community engagement and socialization. The groundbreaking of The Plaza at Evans Towne Center is just the next step in the evolution of this dynamic and exciting development.
