Free Lecture Series at Georgia Tech Feb. 16

Georgia Tech’s School of Architecture and TSW, an Atlanta-based planning, architecture and landscape architecture firm, are pleased to announce that Kofi Boone, FASLA, professor of Landscape Architecture at NC State University, will be the 2022 speaker at the TSW Lecture Series on Urban Design on Wednesday, Feb. 16 at 3 p.m. The program will be held in-person in the Reinsch-Pierce Auditorium at the Georgia Tech School of Architecture, 245 Fourth St., Atlanta (directions here) and will be streamed on Instagram Live (@ gtarchitecture). All formats are free and open to the public.

Professor Boone is a Joseph D. Moore Distinguished Professor and University Faculty Scholar at NC State University and a native of Detroit, MI. His award-winning work is in the overlap between landscape architecture and environmental justice, with specializations in democratic design and interpreting cultural landscapes. In addition to his academic work, Professor Boone serves on the boards of The Corps Network, The Black Landscape Architects Network and The Black Land Loss Prevention Project, and is President of the Landscape Architecture Foundation.
