Growing up on job sites shapes you in ways you don’t fully understand or appreciate as you’re experiencing it. I spent countless hours in job site trailers helping my dad, a contractor superintendent, review and mark up plans. My mom worked alongside him as his field assistant and also managed the day-to-day needs of the office for their firm. While I didn’t fulfill my dad’s dream of seeing me become an engineer or architect, I probably should have known I’d never stray far from my roots.
I bring nearly 20 years of experience as an AEC marketer, having served both architecture and engineering firms pursuing projects for local and state governments, K-12 to higher education, commercial, civic, and private clients alike. What energizes me most is the combination of deadline-driven momentum and creative problem-solving. Throughout my career, I’ve led and supported high-value pursuits, awards submissions, corporate rebrands, and events, helping teams and organizations put their best work forward. I’m an organizer at heart and thrive on mapping out detailed to-do lists well in advance, whether for proposals, photography, conferences, or firmwide initiatives.
Collaboration and communication are central to how I work. I value strong partnerships with technical and leadership teams and enjoy translating complex ideas into compelling stories. I’m known for being an over-communicator, so everyone always knows where things stand, and for being a problem-solver who’s ready to pivot with a Plan B (and C) already in place.
Ultimately, my passion for my work comes from a desire to make an impact by supporting projects that strengthen the communities we serve and make them work better for the people who live, work, and play in them.
In addition to my professional work, I enjoy volunteering for various organizations, which supports my growth and knowledge of our expansive and ever-evolving industry.
When I’m not at the office, you’ll find me…outdoors with my husband and dog, reading, bouldering, or making up a new project for myself.
