Experience

Experience

As an engineer and planner, Bert brings a balanced approach to mobility and infrastructure planning and design. He has over 20 years of experience helping towns and cities become more sustainable, livable and equitable places through public sector roles such as City Transportation Engineer for Chattanooga, TN, and as a consultant to counties, towns/cities, and neighborhoods for comprehensive and area planning projects, multimodal network plans, code development support, and complete street design projects.

Bert is a licensed professional engineer, a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners, and is an accredited member of the Congress for the New Urbanism.

When I’m not at the office, you’ll find me…mountain biking, adventure motorcycle touring, and frequenting art museums.
