Woody Giles recently attended the Society for College and University Planning’s (SCUP) Southern Regional Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana. The conference focused on a variety of hot topics in higher education from institutions across the south, including assessment and accountability, resiliency, cost effectiveness, and new facilities.

A couple of Woody’s highlights from the conference included hosting the reception for new members and first time attendees, touring Tulane University, and attending the closing panel, which was on first amendment rights and how to handle hate speech and controversial speakers or groups on campus.
